Koreans are known to loveeeee spam (I think they have the highest spam purchase rate in the world or something like that), so when they found out about spam musubis, they jumped right on it haha. I think i learned it from a Korean reality show a while back and saw that this spam musubi tool was on sale for Black Friday, so I bought it without thinking twice, tried it, and of course, loved it, so here’s how I like to make it with my own twist!
Also, some side notes. First, spam musubis that Korean make are a bit different from Japanese/Hawaiian spam musubis iirc because we flavor the rice a little bit differently. Second, you can use the spam can to make it instead of using this tool so you don’t have to waste extra money. Just make sure to clean the can before using it!
Please follow along the video for the process! The ingredients are listed below.
Spam* (1 Can)
Gim “Seaweed paper” (1 Sheet)
2 Eggs*
Salt (1 Tsp)
Sesame oil (1 Tbsp)
Rice* (1.5 Cups)
Sesame seeds (Your liking)
