Kimchi Jjigae Tuna Ver. (참치 김치찌개)

Kimchi Jjigae Tuna Ver. (참치 김치찌개)

Kimchi Jjigae (Korean Kimchi Stew) was probably one of the most highly requested recipe on my channel so I made it for y’all!! (well made it like 3 times now but first time posting it on this blog). Again like every other korean food, there are many ways to make a kimchi jjigae, and traditionally you’d use pork belly to enrichen the flavors, but my mom taught me that I can just use a can of tuna instead, and of course my lazy ass took that idea real quick. So here’s the ingredient list for a super simple (tuna) kimchi jjigae. Please follow along the video for the process! The ingredients are listed below.

Beef Bulgogi (불고기)

Beef Bulgogi (불고기)

If you think Korean, you probably think of…. BTS, but if you think Korean FOOD you should think of Bulgogi because this is one of default Korean foods (well I guess after Kimchi), but anyways, there are many ways to do it, but here's how I do it using beef! Please follow along the video for the process! Tteokguk (떡국)

Tteokguk (떡국)

Don't want to eat rice? well, let them eat rice CAKE cause they're the best thing ever. One of the best ways to use rice cakes are making tteokguk, which is Korean rice cake soup, especially during cold chilly days, or any day of the year tbh. There are many different ways to make it, but this is the simplest and quickest way that I've learned, which is the recipe I end up using 95% of the time lol. We're gonna use clear broth with fish soup base, so there are no meats involved. Please follow along the video for the process! The ingredients are listed below.

Spam Musubi

Spam Musubi

Koreans are known to loveeeee spam (I think they have the highest spam purchase rate in the world or something like that), so when they found out about spam musubis, they jumped right on it haha. I think i learned it from a Korean reality show a while back and saw that this spam musubi tool was on sale for Black Friday, so I bought it without thinking twice, tried it, and of course, loved it, so here’s how I like to make it with my own twist! Also, some side notes. First, spam musubis that Korean make are a bit different from Japanese/Hawaiian spam musubis iirc because we flavor the rice a little bit differently. Second, you can use the spam can to make it instead of using this tool so you don’t have to waste extra money. Just make sure to clean the can before using it!Please follow along the video for the process! The ingredients are listed below.

All Purpose Flour Graham Crackers

All Purpose Flour Graham Crackers

Okay, if i have to choose one recipe that I had the most success on, it would be this one for sure. I researched like 4-5 graham cracker recipes and put it together because I really did NOT want to go shop for a whole wheat flour that I’ll probably never use haha (this one was the most helpful so s/o to her). So this recipe calls for ingredients that I’m sure you’ll find in your pantry. +Also, I hate cinnamon so I skipped it, but sprinkle that in if you want it to taste more store bought. Please follow along the video for the process! Corn Cheese (콘치즈)

Corn Cheese (콘치즈)

It’s corn cheese time!!! This recipe is soooooo simple and sooooo delicious. I think this will be an amazing party recipe if you ever host one in the future! It’s a sweet cheesy deliciousness with a savory taste from the corn. I think you can use any pan, but I like using my cast Iron for this because it enhances the fire-y burnt(?) taste AND you can put it in the oven. Please follow along the video for the process! Japchae (잡채)

Japchae (잡채)

Today I made Japchae with y’all, so here’s the recipe for it! It’s a great celebration meal, so perfect for the holidays as well. Keep in mind that the traditional version will use some sort of a meat (pork usually), and more veggies like spinach, and bell peppers, but I was too lazy to get more groceries and deal with raw meat so I just made a vegetarian version haha. Please follow along the video for the process! Kimchi Bibim Guksoo (비빔국수)

Kimchi Bibim Guksoo (비빔국수)

Here’s the recipe for Kimchi Bibim Guksoo that I made for 1000 TikTok follower special (YAY!!!), which translates to mixed spicy Korean noodles or something like that. Just call it Bibim guksoo cause that’s easier lol. There’s many different ways of making bibim-guksoo, but this one is specifically using kimchi. Please follow along the video for the process!
